Grimm is the god of Despair, Poverty, and Loneliness.

It has the appearance of a mangy, sickly-looking grey wolf with a red streak down its spine and grey eyes. It is perpetually shrouded in a stinking, grey, smog-like cloud.

Grimm is not so much worshipped as feared and respected, especially by worshippers of Leahmin and Kashtar.

It is said that Grimm is the only god that spends all its time in the material realm. Rumours suggest that it endlessly roams Isen, spreading disease, drought, and suffering in its wake.

Farmers in particular fear the Wolf, offering sick or undesirable livestock as sacrifices, when they think it might be near. This practice has led to many provincial villages building small temples to Grimm, to try to appease it.

Many superstitious people believe that any time they are in bad health, or any kind of hardship, they have been cursed by the Wolf and immediately head to the nearest temple to beg forgiveness.

Few claim to have ever been close enough to Grimm to describe its personality, but it is said to speak in quick, short-clipped sentences.

The motto of the Grimm faith is "Rely on no one."

RPG Information[]

Its holy symbol is a mangy wolf. This can be a model (e.g. a carving or ornament), or a depiction (e.g. a tattoo, piece of jewellery, or drawn image).
